Background:

           In this project, we used 3DS MAX to create a three dimensional model of ourselves. We first started by having a template of planes and images that we could use for reference. Various parts of the model were created using bevel, extrude, inset, connect and a variety of other tools. Once we had created the basic item for the model, we were given the task to add our own personal touches. Between adding personal touches and creating more items, we scanned ourselves with a kinect camera hooked up to the application reconstruct me. Once we had created a good model of ourselves, we took the file and went into mesh mixer to fix the holes and errors wit our models. Once we had finished patching it up, we imported it into our 3DS MAX file. All the items were then attached together and textured and then snaggit was then used to record a small movie showing the details of our models. This video was then uploaded onto our you-tube channels.
